Ellen May Arnold was born 1908 in Brandon, Suffolk. She was the fifth child of George Frederick Arnold and Priscilla Arnold (nee Thompson).
On 2nd April 1911 the Census was held. Ellen May Arnold was living in Town Street, Brandon, Suffolk with her parents George Frederick Arnold and Priscilla Arnold (nee Thompson), her siblings Charlotte M. Arnold, James H. Arnold, Alice M. Arnold and George E. Arnold and her grandmother Julia Adams.
In 1934 Ellen May Arnold married John Elmer in Brandon, Suffolk. They would go on to have two children, Hilary B. Elmer born 1934 and Geraldine Elmer born 1941.
In 1952 Ellen May Elmer (nee Arnold) died in Brandon, Suffolk.
