Susan Rebecca Arnold was born 1865 in Hockwold cum Wilton, Norfolk, England. She was the eldest child of Henry Arnold and Hephzibah Arnold (nee Johnson).
On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. Susan Rebecca Arnold was living in Upper Street, Hockwold cum Wilton, Norfolk with her parents Henry Arnold and Hephzibah Arnold (nee Johnson) and her siblings Sarah A. Arnold and Charles Arnold.
On 3rd April 1881 the Census was held. Susan Rebecca Arnold was living at Pokenhoe House, Walsoken, Norfolk working as a House Maid for Robert Henry Wiles a Farmer of 520 acres, employing 14 men and 4 boys, his wife Sarah Wiles, his children Sarah Wiles, Edith Lucy Wiles and Robert Wiles and living with Bessie Johnson a Governess and Harriet A. Poole a Cook and Dairy Maid.
In 1886 Susan Rebecca Arnold married Henry Whitmore in Docking, Norfolk. They would go on to have at least eight children; Henry Whitmore born 1887, Milbah Whitmore born 1889, Elizabeth Whitmore born 1890, George Whitmore born 1892, Agnes Whitmore born 1893, Susannah Whitmore born 1894, John Whitmore born 1898 and Madeline Whitmore born 1900.
On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. Susan Rebecca Whitmore (nee Arnold) was living in Rolfes Cottages, Dersingham, Norfolk. She was living with her husband Henry Whitmore, their children Milbah Whitmore and Elizabeth Whitmore and a boarder by the name of Maurice Smith.
In 1948 Susan Rebecca Whitmore (nee Arnold) died in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
