Alice Mary Arnold was born on 15th Janurary 1885 in Twickenham, Middlesex. She was the third child of Walter Arnold and Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hooper).
On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. Alice Mary Arnold was living at 7 Dorothea Terrace, Hednesford Road, Mitcham, Surrey. She was living with her parents Walter Arnold and Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hooper) and her siblings, Fanny J. Arnold, Sarah Bessie Arnold, Albert M. Arnold and William A. Arnold.
On 2nd April 1911 the Census was held. Alice Mary Arnold was living at Homefields College, Hunstanton, Norfolk, working as a Cook.
In 1915 Alice Mary Arnold married Henry Barley in Downham Market, Norfolk. They would go onto have at least two children, Harold F. Barley born 1924 and Phyllis M. Barley born 1926.
In 1966 Alice Mary Barley (nee Arnold) died in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
