Sophia Rosa Arnold was born on 16th April 1893 in Mitcham, Surrey. She was the seventh child of Walter Arnold and Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hooper).
On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. Sophia Rosa Arnold was living at 14 Waterfall Road, Mitcham, Surrey. She was living with her father Walter Arnold and her step-mother Alice Arnold (nee Oliver) and her siblings, Sarah Bessie Arnold, Albert Edward Arnold, William Arnold, Henry Arnold and Fred Arnold.
In 1930 Sophia Rosa Arnold married George William Harpley in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
In 1969 Sophia Rosa Harpley (nee Arnold) died in Downham Market, Norfolk.
