Dorothy Mabel Arnold was born 1897 in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire. She was the last child of James Arnold and Agnes Lavinia Arnold (nee Pratt).
On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. Dorothy Mabel Arnold was living in 14 New Bond Street, Spalding, Lincolnshire. She was living with her parents James Arnold and Agnes Lavinia Arnold (nee Pratt), her sister Gladys Arnold and a boarder James Singlton.
On 2nd April 1911 the Census was held. Dorothy Mabel Arnold was living at 187 Willingham Street, Grimbsy, Lincolnshire. She was living with her parents James Arnold and Agnes Lavinia Arnold (nee Pratt) and her sister Gladys Arnold.
In 1922 Dorothy Mabel Arnold married James H. Hook. They went onto have two children, Harry A. T. Hook born 1923 and Beryl A. Hook born 1925.
In 1985 Dorothy Mabel Hook (nee Arnold) died in Dewsbury, Yorkshire.
