Thomas Arnold was born 1857 in Downham Market, Norfolk. He was the fourth child of Walter Arnold and Mary Ann Arnold (nee Eastell).

On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. Thomas Arnold was living in Denver Road, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was living with his parents Walter Arnold and Mary Ann Arnold (nee Eastell) and his siblings, George Arnold, Mary Ann Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold, William Arnold, Walter Arnold and Alice Arnold.
On 3rd April 1881 the Census was held. Thomas Arnold was living in Lincoln Union Workhouse, Lincoln, Lincolnshire. His status was given as a Vagrant, having the occupation of a Groom, Domestic Servant.

Some time inbetween 1881 - 1891 Thomas Arnold may of married a woman called Julia ?
On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. Thomas Arnold was living at 13 Stevens Crescent, Bedminster, Somerset. He was living with his possible wife Julia Arnold. Thomas Arnold was working as a Stableman to R. Carrice.
In 1895 Thomas Arnold died in Cheshire.
