Elizabeth Arnold was born at West End, Feltwell, Norfolk in November 1870. She was the third child of James Arnold and Eliza Arnold (nee Oldby).
On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. Elizabeth Arnold was living at West End, Feltwell, Norfolk, with her parents James Arnold and Eliza Arnold (nee Oldby), her siblings Susan Arnold and William Arnold along with her Uncle Walter Oldby.

On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. Elizabeth Arnold was living at 41 Carlyle Square, Chelsea, London. She was working as a Cook Domestic Servant for a Samuel Rideal a Consulting Chemist and Lecturer, his wife Jilla, their son Eric, who was eleven months old and a nurse.
On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. Elizabeth Arnold was living at 38 South Audley Street, Westminster, London. She was working as a Servant for an Arthur England an Accountant, his wife Alice and a Housekeeper.
