George Arnold was born c.1852 in Downham Market, Norfolk. He was the eldest child of Walter Arnold and Mary Ann Arnold (nee Eastell).
On 7th April 1861 the Census was held. George Arnold was living in Parsonage Lane, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was living with his parents Walter Arnold and Mary Ann Arnold (nee Eastell) and his siblings, Mary Ann Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold, Thomas Arnold and William Arnold.
On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. George Arnold was living in Denver Road, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was living with his parents Walter Arnold and Mary Ann Arnold (nee Eastell) and his siblings, Mary Ann Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold, Thomas Arnold, William Arnold, Walter Arnold and Alice Arnold. George was working as a Groom.
In 1872 George Arnold married Charlotte Cox. They would go onto have at least four children; Fora Arnold born 1873, Mary Ann Arnold born 1874, George Walter Arnold 1876 and James Arnold born 1879.
On 3rd April 1881 the Census was held. George Arnold was living in Lynn Road, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was living with his wife Charlotte Arnold (nee Cox) and their children; Flora Arnold, Mary Ann Arnold, George Walter Arnold and James Arnold. George was working as a Groom.
In 1890 Charlotte Arnold (nee Cox) died.
On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. George Arnold was living in Ravens Row, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was still working as a Groom.
In 1907 George Arnold died.
