James Arnold was born 1879 in Downham Market, Norfolk. He was the fourth and last child of George Arnold and Charlotte Arnold (nee Cox).
On 3rd April 1881 the Census was held. James Arnold was living in Lynn Road, Downham Market, Norfolk, with his parents George Arnold and Charlotte Arnold (nee Cox) and his siblings, Flora Arnold, Mary Ann Arnold and George Walter Arnold.
On 5th April 1891 the Census was held. James Arnold was living in Church Lane, Downham Market, Norfolk as a Lodger with a Galloway Butcher and Ann Butcher.
On 31st March 1901 the Census was held. James Arnold was living in Church Road, Downham Market, Norfolk with Ann Butcher. James Arnold was working as a Tin Worker.
In 1902 James Arnold married Ellen Alice Fox, they would go onto have at least two children, Walter Sydney born 1905 and Ellen Alice Arnold born 1910.
On 2nd April 1911 the Census was held. James Arnold was living in Norfolk Square, Downham Market, Norfolk with his wife Ellen Alice Arnold (nee Fox) and their children, Walter Sydney Arnold and Ellen Alice Arnold. He was working as a Tin Smith.
In 1953 James Arnold died in Downham Market, Norfolk.
