William Arnold was born 1804 in Hockwold cum Wilton, Norfolk. He was the second child of Thomas Arnold and Sarah Arnold (nee Cooper).
On 26th August 1804 William Arnold was baptised at St James Church, Wilton, Norfolk.
On 24th November 1828 William Arnold married Elizabeth Hotson. They would go onto have four children; Walter Arnold born 1830, Sarah Ann Arnold born 1833, Elizabeth Arnold born 1839 and Anna E. Arnold born 1847.
On 6th June 1841 the Census was held. William Arnold was living in Hockwold cum Wilton with his wife Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hotson) and their children, Walter Arnold, Sarah Ann Arnold and Elizabeth Arnold. William was working as a Carpenter.
On 30th March 1851 the Census was held. William Arnold was living in Denver Road, Downham Market, Norfolk (which is now Downham Road). He was living with his wife Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hotson) and their children, Walter Arnold, Sarah Ann Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold and Anna E. Arnold. William was working as a Carpenter.
On 7th April 1861 the Census was held. William Arnold was living in Denver Road, Downham Market, Norfolk. He was living with his wife Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hotson) and their children Elizabeth Arnold and Anna Elizabeth Arnold. William was working as a Carpenter.
On 2nd April 1871 the Census was held. William Arnold was living in Dever Road, Downham Market, Norfolk (which is now Downham Road, next to the High Street). William was living with his wife Elizabeth Arnold (nee Hotson) and their Grandson Henry Estell. William was working as a Carpenter.
In 1884 William Arnold died in Norfolk.
